Sat nam, fellow dreamers!
Earlier this year I was in the magnificent Tulum in Mexico, and I couldn't recommend it enough for a spiritual, relaxing, inspiration-filled getaway! I stayed at the amazing Sanara (which I will tell you more about below) and met up with my friend and owner, Charlie who told me about how he manifested his dream into reality.

About The Sanará Hotel
Sanará (meaning, ‘you will heal’ in Spanish) is a luxury eco-boutique hotel on Tulum Beach in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Sanará sits on the backdrop of one of the world’s most stunning and popular beaches, looking out onto the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The hotel features a spectacular beach-appointed Yoga Studio, a world class Wellness Center, and highly acclaimed The Real Coconut Restaurant.
Sanará Tulum won the 2015 National Competition in the category of Architecture and Interiors for Hotels from the Asociacion de Arquitectos e Interioristas, Mexico.
About Tulum
Tulum has long been revered by media, music and fashion industry creatives who have been frequenting its pure white beaches and picture perfect scenery for years, shooting countless fashion campaigns and commercials. Tulum is also known for the ancient Mayan archeological site which uniquely sits right on the beach and is one of the top three most visited Mayan ruins in Mexico. Trip Advisor rated Tulum as the third most beautiful beach in the world in 2012 and its pristine, white sand beaches stretch from the famous Mayan ruins of Tulum, approximately 10km down to the entrance of the Sian Ka’an biosphere, an additional 64km of virtually untouched coastline.

In 2014, Charlie opened Sanará with Daniella Hunter, who was traveling through the Riviera Maya while working as an underwater photographer in 2000 and relocated her family there in 2012. While delving into the unique mix of Mexican & Mayan culture, she chose Tulum for a continuation of her journey into what they call the pursuit of healing, within a service of caring. With the combined efforts of Daniella, Charlie, and long-time collaborative Toronto-based partner, David Woolfson and then a group of willing supporters, the Sanará Tulum hotel is what it is today.
